Inauguration of The Bangladesh Special Economic Zone (BSEZ)
On December 6th, the inauguration of the Bangladesh Special Economic Zone (BSEZ) was held on the site. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh who officially declared the opening of BSEZ through internet, as well as approximately 300 Japanese-Bangladeshi officials led by H.E. Naoki Ito, the former Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is now attracting more attentions due to its high potential for economic growth and growing consumer market.
