On October 17th, the Embassy of Bangladesh Tokyo and the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) organized the Bangladesh Investment Seminar at Tokyo Convention Hall. With a population of approximately 170 million and enhancing its position globally as a major market and export manufacturing hub, Bangladesh has attracted significant attentions from both private and public sectors. Officials and business leaders spoke on the theme of business and investment environment, and we, Sumitomo Corporation gave a presentation about the Bangladesh Special Economic Zone (BSEZ).

Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the seminar was held on face-to-face basis and was attended by approximately 130 representatives from both private and public sectors.
