Since 1997, Sumitomo Corporation has been developing and operating a total of three industrial parks (Thang Long Industrial Parks 1–3) near Hanoi in northern Vietnam.
Most recently, in May 2025, we established the fourth Thang Long Industrial Park in Thanh Hoa Province, located in the north-central region of the country, and held a groundbreaking ceremony in March 2026.
On the day of the event, hosted by Aichi Prefecture, speakers from JETRO and Mitsubishi UFJ Bank will provide insights not only on the current situation in the north-central region but also on the investment environment in Vietnam as a whole, key considerations for market entry, feedback from companies currently operating there, and points of interest in the north-central region.
